Meet Bart. Short for Barton. This fella’s name comes from the address of the legendary Texas music hall “Armadillo World Headquarters” located at 525 1/2 “Barton” Springs Road. The Armadillo building was actually a National Guard “Armory” before it was a venue. Don’t be fooled by the bicycle, though … Bart is only peddling Texas pride on his way to the “Dillo.” You see, the reason the address is 525 1/2 is because the Armadillo WHQ is behind the “Skate Palace.” Everyone knows Bart likes to skate next door even though he gets run over from time to time by the Roller Derby gals!
